| Job Description | A leading producer of major game titles is looking to recruit an experienced Project Technical Lead to take a key Lead role at its high profile development studio in Scotland. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing technical leadership for new product development and will be expected to work with the Senior Management team to set and implement product goals. Duties will include: - Manage the live development and R&D effort to produce cutting-edge technology in one or any of the key elements of the project, such as graphics, core tech and gameplay. - Critique technology and development practices to improving game appeal and quality - Participate actively in driving the company’s technological vision - Serve as an active partner in driving the company’s technological vision This is a senior position within a major development studio and to be considered you will need: - prior experience as a Lead Programmer, Technical Director or as a key Senior Programmer for at least 3 years within the games industry. - Knowledge of the games industry and technology best practice for Next Gen platform development.
